Auris’ therapeutic magnets are bipolar, they have a north side and a south side, like a coin has one side heads and one side tails.

Magnets polarity

If you want to verify the good polarity of a magnet, you can use a compass.

The international convention to define the north of a magnet specifies that a magnet free of its movement in space has its north face oriented towards the terrestrial geographic north. It is therefore that the geographic north pole is in reality a magnetic south pole since the opposite polarities attract.

So, the side of the compass needle that points to the north will show the south face of your magnet.
